Ahi Tuna Teriyaki
Ingredients
- 1 to 1½ pounds ahi fillets, cut into chunks
- 1½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ teaspoon pepper
- Flour
- Simple Teriyaki Sauce
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1-inch piece ginger, crushed
- 2 tablespoons mirin, optional
- Garnish
- 3 stalks green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Salt and pepper ahi chunks and coat with flour.
- On medium high heat, heat oil and fry fish until brown. Remove from pan.
- Mix teriyaki sauce ingredients together and add to pan cook until sugar is dissolved. Add ahi back to pan and spoon sauce over fish and simmer for a few minutes. Don’t over cook.
