Ahi Tuna Teriyaki

Ingredients
  • 1 to 1½ pounds ahi fillets, cut into chunks
  • 1½ teaspoon salt
  • 1½ teaspoon pepper
  • Flour
  • Simple Teriyaki Sauce
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1-inch piece ginger, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons mirin, optional
  • Garnish
  • 3 stalks green onions, chopped
Instructions
  1. Salt and pepper ahi chunks and coat with flour.
  2. On medium high heat, heat oil and fry fish until brown. Remove from pan.
  3. Mix teriyaki sauce ingredients together and add to pan cook until sugar is dissolved. Add ahi back to pan and spoon sauce over fish and simmer for a few minutes. Don’t over cook.
